Reig Jofre begins trading on the IBEX SMALL CAP

  • During its last ordinary review, the Technical Advisory Committee of the Ibex Indices approved the inclusion of the Reig Jofre (RJF) shares in the IBEX SMALL CAP
  • This modification will take effect as of December 23, 2019. The indexes will be adjusted at the close of the session on Friday, December 20.

Reig Jofre, a pharmaceutical company listed on the Spanish continuous market, announced that, in its last ordinary review, the Technical Advisory Committee of the Ibex Indices approved the inclusion of the Reig Jofre (RJF) shares in the Ibex Small Cap, the domestic and international benchmark index of the stock market evolution of Spanish small-cap companies.

This modification will take effect as of December 23, 2019 and the indexes will be adjusted at the close of the session on Friday, December 20.

The IBEX indexes measure the performance of securities listed on the Spanish Stock Market. Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) calculates three benchmark financial stock indexes of Spanish listed companies, weighted by market capitalization that is adjusted by floating capital: The Ibex Small Cap brings together the 30 most important listed small-cap companies that follow those included in the Ibex Medium Cap, index made up by the 20 securities of medium capitalization that follow in turn, those included in the Ibex 35, the main reference stock index of the Spanish Stock Exchange formed by the 35 companies with the highest liquidity.
